What happens next?
Eating and enjoying food is only part of the process of food consumption. What happens to all that packaging after you’re done eating or drinking? And, for that matter, exactly how much packaging do we use?
Mark Hurst over at Good Experience blogged about some photos which help to illustrate one particular problem: 2.5 million plastic water bottles disposed every hour in the U.S.
By comparison, check out the Japanese furoshiki, a square piece of cloth which can be used to carry a number of different kinds of objects depending on how the cloth is folded and wrapped. Amazing!
